👀About the role
They are looking for a LATAM Business Operations Manager to help build and scale the company’s operations across Latin America.
This is not a role focused on maintaining existing processes. You will be helping create them.
You will work closely with leadership to understand what the business needs to operate successfully across the region and turn that into practical systems, processes, partnerships, and day-to-day execution. You’ll navigate the realities of operating across different LATAM markets while connecting local operations with the company’s US-based business.
The ideal candidate has experience in finance or fintech and has helped a US or international company establish or scale operations in Latin America.
👉 Responsibilities
- Build and improve operational processes to support the company’s growth across Latin America.
- Work with leadership to develop the operational strategy for new and existing LATAM markets.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and local requirements that need to be addressed as the company expands.
- Coordinate operational activities across internal teams and external partners.
- Help establish scalable processes for onboarding, payments, vendors, documentation, reporting, and other business operations.
- Navigate differences between LATAM markets and help adapt processes where local knowledge is required.
- Work closely with finance, compliance, product, and commercial teams.
- Build relationships with local vendors, partners, and service providers.
- Create reporting and visibility around regional operations and key business metrics.
- Solve operational problems as they arise and take ownership of execution.
- Help build the foundation for a larger LATAM operations function over time.
👉 Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, finance operations, strategy, or a similar role.
- Previous experience helping a US-based or international company build or scale operations in Latin America.
- Background in fintech, financial services, banking, payments, or another financial environment.
- Strong understanding of the operational realities of working across LATAM markets.
- Experience building processes from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
- Highly analytical and comfortable working with data to support decisions.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership without a highly structured playbook.
