👀About the role
They’re hiring a Paid Media Manager to lead strategy and execution across Meta, Google, YouTube, and other platforms. You’ll own a portfolio of 8–10 clients, managing budgets, reporting, and day-to-day performance. You’ll work closely with the Head of Growth and the creative team to plan, test, and scale campaigns. This is a client-facing role, and they’re looking for someone who’s confident talking performance and pushing ideas forward.

- Plan and manage campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and YouTube
- Own strategy and performance for 8–10 DTC brands
- Lead client communication: weekly updates, monthly calls, performance breakdowns
- Work with designers to request and review ad creatives
- Propose new tests and ideas based on platform changes or trends
- Monitor results daily and make decisions that improve ROAS and efficiency
👉 Requirements
- 4+ years managing paid media campaigns (Meta and Google are a must)
- Experience working with eCommerce brands or DTC founders
- Strong communication skills and confidence handling client accounts directly
- Solid understanding of performance metrics and what drives results
- Advanced English (this is client facing so we need experience with US or super advanced English level)
- Experience with beauty/ welness is a plus
🍿About the process
The overall process takes around 4 – 4.5 hours across 3–4 days, depending on availability:
- Intro call with the kala team 💜 (30 min) – We’ll share more about the role and the agency, and learn about your background and goals
- Meeting with the Head of growth 🧩 (45 min) – A deeper conversation about your past campaigns, client management, and how you approach performance
- Home Assessment 🙋♂️ (3 hours expected) – You’ll review a sample account and present your strategy. It’s designed to understand how you think, not just what you know. This will be paid 200 USD independently of the results
- Final call and present your Assessment🤝 (30 min) –Share your vision to the CEO and Head of growth
- Cultural fit meeting: 🐤(30 min) Know more team members in a non technical call to share who you are and meet who would be your future team
This is a full-time contractor role paid in USD. You’ll be expected to work Monday to Friday with availability from 9 AM to 3 PM EST (the rest of your hours are flexible) This is a FT role 40 hours per week. The role includes 15 days of paid time off per year, plus 10 additional days for local holidays of your choice.
