We’re looking for a strategic leader to shape and scale our digital marketing efforts, focusing on Paid Media and SEO.

With more than 12 years in the market, the agency has a fully remote team of 15 members across the US, Brazil, and Argentina.

👀About the role

We’re seeking a strategic leader to shape and scale our digital marketing efforts across SEO and Paid Media. As Director of Strategy, you will focus on two main areas:

  • Supporting and guiding the SEO and Paid Media specialists to ensure strategies and deliverables meet clients’ goals.
  • Managing your own projects, blending hands-on work with high-level strategy.

This role is client-facing, so you’ll be comfortable setting expectations and goals, supporting and guiding strategists on execution, and directly delivering work. It’s a mix of leadership and hands-on involvement.

💜 Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Ownership: Develop and oversee comprehensive SEO and Paid Media strategies aligned with client goals, ensuring integration and high performance.

Project Management and Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate strategies, map progress, and results to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Technical Guidance: Oversee and optimize digital marketing channels, focusing on SEO and Paid Media, but also including content and email marketing. Provide quality assurance, guide strategic direction, and ensure strong execution of the projects executed by the specialists

Performance Measurement: Track and analyze digital marketing performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize strategies to maximize ROI.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, design, content, and web teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.

Innovation & Improvement: Stay up to date with trends and tools, proactively suggesting improvements to our digital marketing services

Team Development: Foster a collaborative, growth-focused environment. Mentor and support the development of Paid Media and SEO team members in a remote setting.

🤗 Requirements

● 6+ years of Digital Marketing Experience: Expertise in SEO and Paid Media (Google, Meta, Bing, Pinterest, LinkedIn – small budget and high volume campaigns), and experience in other marketing areas such as content/email marketing in an agency environment.

● Experience with the US Market and Bilingual English level are a must (this role has full client facing)

● 5+ years in Leadership Roles: Proven ability to lead and motivate others, set direction, review work, provide feedback, and train team members in a remote environment.

● Project & Budget Management: Skilled at setting priorities, managing timelines and budgets, and delivering high-quality work on time.

● Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and strategic thinking to design and guide strategies that drive business results

● Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong proficiency with analytics platforms (GA4, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Looker Studio, etc.) to measure performance and provide insights.

● Process Improvement: Proactively suggest and implement operational improvements that help the team and our partners succeed.

The overall process is 2.5-3 hours hours across 3 separate days of meetings:

  1. Intro call with the kala team💜30 minutes: Get into the opportunity and share more about your professional background
  2. Meeting with our Partner: 45-60 minutes Share your experience and skills and know the team🙋‍♂️
  3. Final Stage: 45-60 minutes. This step is to meet more team members and share more about yourself (this is not technical at all 😎).
