As a Data Engineer your role involves designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and systems. You’ll collaborate closely with experts and data scientists to ensure that data is a valuable asset in improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
- Implement data quality and governance practices
- Optimize databases and data warehouses for healthcare data storage and retrieval
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and enhance data quality
- Stay updated with emerging data engineering technologies
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow)
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations is a plus
